Lynne Dupuis of LMDSolutions Wins the Prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Saphir Soirée

April 21, 2024, Ottawa — Lynne Dupuis, founder and CEO of LMDSolutions, has been honored with the 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year award at the recent Saphir Soirée, organized by the Franco-Ontarian Foundation. Lynne is the only recipient from Northern Ontario to win the Saphir. This award celebrates her exceptional contributions and leadership in the development of French-language services in Ontario, as well as her dedication to promoting good governance within Francophone and bilingual organizations.

With over 25 years of experience in the Francophone community of Ontario, Lynne Dupuis has played a crucial role in advancing programs, education, and healthcare in French, while actively serving on several boards of influential organizations. Since establishing LMDSolutions 12 years ago, primarily working in Northern Ontario, she has tirelessly supported organizations in adopting effective and efficient governance practices, thereby enhancing management and operations.

Lors de la Soirée Saphir 2024 de la Fondation franco-ontarienne (FFO), une demi-douzaine de récompenses ont été distribuées au Centre des conventions Infinity d'Ottawa. Le Nord de l'Ontario était bien représenté avec un prix important qui revient à une femme d'affaires du Grand Sudbury : Lynne Dupuis, fondatrice et PDG de LMDSolutions, lauréate pour le prix Saphir dans la catégorie Entrepreneure.

LMDSolutions se consacre à l'amélioration de la gouvernance des organisations.
Ce projet a permis à sa fondatrice de concilier le travail avec ses passions et son engagement communautaire.
Avec une entreprise, je pouvais me lancer dans plusieurs choses; ça me donnait la liberté d’être impliqué au niveau communautaire dans la gouvernance et de travailler avec des organismes que j’aimais beaucoup comme consultante, explique-t-elle.
